Website Terms & Legal
The terms that apply when you browse this website, use its information or submit a project enquiry to SAC Facades.
These terms apply to use of this website. Project supply, fabrication and installation work is governed by the specific written quote, scope and contract accepted for that project.
1. Acceptance
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website. We may update the terms by publishing a revised version on this page.
2. General information only
Website content is general information about SAC Facades and the types of systems we may supply or install. It is not structural, engineering, building, energy, fire, waterproofing, access, legal or other professional advice. Obtain advice appropriate to the project before relying on technical information.
3. System information and specifications
Product names, dimensions, glass ranges, configurations, finishes, performance descriptions and availability may change or may only apply to a particular manufacturer system. Final suitability depends on the project drawings, site exposure, span, loads, glass, hardware, installation, applicable NCC edition, Australian Standards, approvals and manufacturer requirements.
References such as panel heights, blade sizes, glazing thicknesses, tolerances and turnaround periods are indicative unless confirmed in a project-specific written document.
4. Enquiries are not accepted contracts
Submitting an enquiry, drawing or file does not create a contract and does not oblige SAC Facades to quote or perform work. A project proceeds only when the parties accept the relevant written quote or contract and any required deposit, approvals and conditions are satisfied.
5. Quotes and project documents
Any quote, shop drawing, programme, warranty or technical submission is subject to its own terms, assumptions, exclusions and validity period. If website content differs from an accepted project document, the accepted project document takes precedence for that project.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these website terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, SAC Facades owns or is licensed to use the website design, written content, graphics and branding. You may view and print reasonable extracts for evaluating our services. You must not reproduce, republish, sell, alter or commercially exploit website material without permission or another lawful basis.
Manufacturer names and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to AWS or Alspec identifies product systems and does not transfer any rights in their marks.
8. Project imagery
Images may show product systems, reference projects or representative architectural applications. A photograph does not by itself establish that SAC Facades designed, fabricated or installed every element shown. Project attribution notes on the relevant page should be read with the image.
9. Third-party websites
Links to manufacturers and other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control their content, availability, privacy practices or security and do not endorse every statement they contain.
10. Website availability and security
We aim to keep the website accurate and available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. You must not attempt to interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, access restricted systems or use the website unlawfully.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SAC Facades is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content, temporary unavailability, third-party websites or information supplied without a project-specific review. This clause does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Privacy
Our handling of personal information submitted through the website is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in South Australia may hear disputes concerning these terms.
